I like it. I think I understand a bit those wealth funds that have been around for centuries in Europe. Need to do the numbers on it with you... the trailer is great i would say to build it not including labour there would be $2000-2500 for tow ball to wheels for fitting, $1200 for the steel, $500 for paint, $200 for lights, $50 weight cert. The total $4000-4500 could leave room for a bit of negotiation.

Give us a bell. A-frame is 20x20 RHS steel .. with 2 2500x5000 aluminium composite walls fully enclosed. Frame is welded .. with verticals at 600mm. Has a walkway halfway up (easier to attach signage). Also solar-panels, lights, battery. Asking $1000.

I have done a little bit of milling with a bloke that made tables from chainsawed slab timber. We made some beams as well. We had couple of chainsaws and had a big 30" bar with a handle on the end of it so two people could mill together. I could imagine Ken being handy with a milling project.

Just checked on how the geocache mob solve it. Use your iPhone Compass app and take an average (minutes/seconds) over 2 days. Should give you precision cords to 1500mm. But your requirement is ‘relative’ - so expect distance accuracy to 100mm .. good enough for the bush 😝

This worked pretty well .. https://www.calculator.net/distance-calculator.html - enter lat/long .. get distance in km to 3 decimal .. I tested it .. 0.8M variance over 50M - pretty reasonable .. averaging over time probably gives better results
